  • We primarily utilize EMDR. However, we are trained in many modalities including Gottman Method, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, IFS, Ego-state therapy and more.

    Integration of various therapies is important and we will work with you as a team to find what fits best.

  • YES! There is a significant amount of evidence-based research that has demonstrated the effectiveness of EMDR online and results are the same as in-person.

  • We ensue that we use the most secure platforms to ensure the protection of confidential information in accordance with provincial and federal laws. We will discuss with you the steps we take, as well as how we ensure your sessions are secure.

  • If you start virtual therapy and decide that it is not for you, we will work with you to find the appropriate referral.

  • EMDR is not right for everyone in every moment. We are equipped with experience in utilizing many other trauma-focused therapies to support you. In addition, we will work with you to understand why your previous experience with EMDR did not work and offer appropriate modifictions.
